In a shamanic sound healing session various sacred ritual instruments such as specially cut and tuned tuning forks, drums, rattles, whistles, bells, bowls, and voice may be used to raise frequencies within your body which will move you towards harmony within yourself, the Universe and allow you to ride the Sacred Sound Current. When these instruments are played they produce sound wave frequencies equivalent to alpha brain wave patterns. Alpha waves are associated with the state of deep relaxation and dreaming, enabling us to move beyond our logical mind to access the creative, intuitive imagination of the right side of our brain. -After inviting many expressions of divinity including our spiritual helpers in the 4 corners: East – air, South- fire, West- water, North – earth, and spirits above and below, I got comfortable on the massage bed. Everything from that point forward was a surprise.
